LINDSAY - A Forest & Four Wheel Portrait Session

When you arrive at a location you've never been before for a shoot you never know quite what to expect. Will there be fields or industrial buildings or trees or will you struggle to find a good background? It's always a risk and stretches the skills of the photographer because they have to think creativily on their toes. But sometimes you get lucky, and when you show up at your little known location you get more than you bargained for...

That's exactly what happened when I arrived at Lindsay's house for this portrait session! Not only did I get a lovely and willing model, but also free range of their over 100 acre property!!! And of course what better way to get around this large property than a 4 wheeler?! Lindsay looked beautiful in her dress but she didn't hesitate to hop onto the four wheeler as I excitedly climbed aboard with all my camera gear and she gunned it into the forest!

Lindsay is such a wonderful person inside and out. She is so gifted musically and has such a sensitive and tender heart for others. It was so much fun to get to rip around her property on the four wheeler and laugh when she ruined several shots to slap the mosquitos that were eating us alive! We may have even gotten the four wheeler stuck at one point and it was quite the scene of me standing behind pushing while Lindsay tried to drive us out of the mud and rocks. BUT it was totally worth it for these beautiful shots! Enjoy...
